‘MARK MAHONEY’ THE STYLE ICONIC

This time, the Style Iconic is non others but the highlighted famed tattoo artist ‘Mark Mahoney.’ Haven’t heard of his name before? Know one thing; this is the man whose works are on David Beckham, Rihanna, Johnny Depp, and Lady Gaga permanently.

Again and again we dive into a steam of people to search for the ones who live with incredible levels of passion; people we admire; and who share thoughtful ideas about life, the pursuit of their dreams and the challenges to become one style iconic.

Finally found, we catch up with this incredible man, Mark Mahoney. He is the man who put his hand (and needle) to Johnny Depp's first tattoo, back when nobody knew who he was; the man who has created his masterpieces on celebrities such as Mickey Rourke, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga.

But also, he'll work on anyone who comes into his shop, the historic Shamrock Social Club on Sunset Blvd, in the heart of Hollywood.

The video, shot at his studio at the Shamrock Social Club in the Sunset Strip, is an interesting look at what has kept Mahoney driven as an artist. He says, “Find out what you want to do and work hard at it. I’ve been working six or seven nights a week for 35 years because I love it. There’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.”

The guy has become an icon whose building influence within the tattoo community, not just that, well, but to the world of Denimfuture as well. Check him out.
